Product Development

We have a team of specialized key associates dedicated to product development and product improvement. The team works independently of product engineering and includes personnel with the following areas of expertise:

Rapid Design And Prototyping Capabilities

• In-house portable laser digitizer, enabling creation of 3D surface models of aircraft structure, interior sub structure, mounting points, and interior components
• In-house Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) rapid prototyping capabilities: two independent StrataSys FDM machines
• In-house CNC milling, five-axis machining, and small part fabrication capabilities
• Three-axis CNC router
• Five-axis CNC router

ATG Outsourcing Services

• Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) for verification purposes and the avoidance of costly 
tool changes once production begins.
• Five-axis routing which allows ATG to be a fully integrated “design and build” composite tooling supplier, offering design, master model production, tooling design and production, material selection and final component production capabilities in one location. With the ability to machine larger and more complex components, ATG can now manufacture tooling, patterns, and production parts for a diverse range of markets including the Aerospace, Automotive, Alternate Energy, Marine, and Plastics industries.
