HISTORY

We began in 1998 in the lofty world of aerospace. Today, we are beginning our descent into other transportation industry sectors. We have grown to more than 150 employees, based in our state-of-the-art facility known as “Autry House” – named for our patrons, Hollywood film legend and former fighter pilot Gene Autry and his wife Jackie.

Mission and Tactical Objective

Our ongoing mission: “to explore new technologies and new innovations; to seek out opportunities and design brilliant solutions; to boldly go where no aerospace company has gone before.”

Our primary tactical objective: “to transform and improve the passenger transportation experience.” We will achieve this by developing and offering elegant and brilliant aerospace quality products that are driven by innovation; technology; creativity; and investment.

Achievements

In 2002, we introduced our first innovation: the Powertech Shade System, the first powered natural light control system designed specifically for aircraft passengers. Today we have more than 70,000 aircraft window shade systems installed on more than thirty aircraft platforms of all sizes, ranging from the iconic Learjet business jet to a 1959 McDonnell Douglas DC-6B (prop powered airliner) to today’s largest and most advanced long-range passenger airplane: the Airbus A380.

Most of the leading aircraft OEMs feature ATG’s products, including Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Gulfstream, Cessna and Dassault Falcon Jet. In addition, many of the world’s leading premium airlines, including Emirates, Lufthansa, Qantas and Malaysia Airlines fly with ATG Powertech Shade systems.

Powertech was just the beginning. Come see what’s new at ATG – and where we’re headed.

Today, ATG is poised for rapid growth and change thanks in part to the cabin experience innovations being developed in our Quantum Lab. Want to know more? Contact us today.
